Half of my family is down with a stomach bug. I’m not one of them, but I was up all night with our 3-year-old as she woke up sick every 45 minutes. Fun times. I’m so tired. I’m filling this cup with lots of caffeinated goodness today so I can make it through. So much laundry…
You’ll all have to forgive me if I don’t catch up on your 365s today. I kind of have my hands full today. I’ll take a look tomorrow, provided I don’t catch this bug and find myself hugging the toilet bowl all night.

I just shot candy a few days ago, so I chose the flower that embodies sweetness to me. Was there ever a flower more humble than the pansy? I love their little faces and ruffled edges. Besides, my husband was sweet enough to plant these for me on Saturday when I was off monitoring a theory test for my students. What a guy!

Oh my gosh, this one was HARD!!! I’m not at all satisfied with this…but it’s the best I could do in the amount of time I have today. It could be argued that sticky buns are not bread, but I’m going with it anyway. The link that was given for how to photograph food recommended taking a bite before the shot…so I did….several times, in fact.
